St. Mark's University (SMU)

  • St. Mark's Center 1110 Paris Avenue Port Royal, SC, 29935 United States (map)

The story of Scrooge’s transformation in A Christmas Carol is a wonderful tale of redemption and hope which makes it a perfect study for Advent. We will explore the Advent themes of Hope, Joy, Love and New Life as we look at Charles Dickens’ beloved classic. This SMU (St. Mark’s University) four-week series began on Wed., Nov. 29. The session meets at 10 AM and again at 6 PM (with a light supper) in the Center. Join us also for Holy Communion at 5:30 in Union Church. Give yourself an early present this year--a trip to Christmas, past, present and future. As Tiny Tim would remind us, “God bless us, everyone!"
