St. Mark's Information
eMailing List
To get onto (or off) the list to receive regular email updates and occasional other information from St. Mark’s, please send your name, address, and email address to info@stmarksc.org or give the information to one of the ushers at church on Sunday.
Membership
If you would like to become a member of St. Mark's, welcome! Just contact a member of the Chapel Committee.
St. Mark’s does not require you to sever your relationship with another church. To become a member, just indicate you want to join . On the other hand, if you would like to transfer your membership from another church, let a Committee member know and a letter requesting transfer will be sent. In the case of an Episcopalian transfer, St. Mark’s can receive your certificate of membership and will be able to transfer it in the future if you wish – even though we are not a recognized member of the Diocese .
Upon becoming a member of St. Mark’s, your name will be listed in the official Chapel register. We hope that as a member you will receive communion on a regular basis to the extent you are able, support the work of the Chapel and become involved in our ministries.
If you would like to become an Episcopalian at St. Mark's, this can be accomplished in a number of ways besides the letter of transfer. Baptism, Confirmation, and being Received from a church in communion with the Episcopal church are three ways. Confirmation and Reception are performed by the Bishop who will next be visiting St. Mark's on November 6, 2011. For more information on this and other opportunities available when he visits, click here.
